The Mormon Schism (by the mostly Mormon church members and some Orthodox Mormons), Mormon Schism of 2035, and sometimes by few members as the Great Mormon Schism was event take place that breaking up the communion between Moderate/Left-wing lean Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (which after Schism become have 19.9 million members) and soon later as Reactionary Orthodox Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (which after Schism become having 2.1 million members) in 2035 over theological and political changes made by Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints then-current president by accepting LBGT and Asexuals into the priesthood and mildly adopting Protestant Trinitarian theology, which was disagreed by a near quarter of membership.

Background[]

Prior to events that creating the big Schism was begin in way back in 1978 as Church begin to allow African-Americans into Priesthood, Which causes small schisms of creating a couple more Fundamentalist sects instead formed out it. This continues creating few smaller schisms in the next few decades that Church was adopting more changes between 1993 and 2031 like Theology, Rituals and becomes less Desolated to outsiders to visited their religion thus create disfranchisement with its Orthodox and Conservative members.

But before they made an announcement of more church changes to stay relevant to younger generations was to pandering them by allowing some technology to stay connected. As other reasons to trying to evolve to modern-day society.

Schism[]

A few days before 2035 Church additional changes according to Mormon Orthodox doctrine, John Constantinides as Presiding Bishopric leader and Sam W. an influential Missionary was quickly realized his church making changes "way too much" and maybe worried that Church needs to stop doing this before may leave and try to take many true followers of Church as punishment from Main Church changes...

When schism happen that over first few days that 500,000-720,000 members resigned their memberships with over 52-61 churches and 5 temples announced their departure from Main Church by declared sided with soon become two Founders like John Constantinides with Orthodox Mormon Church, This responded Mormon Church shunned and accused them of not being real Mormons despite still accepting Brigham as successor as second President of LDS cause 60,500 more member leaves and joins their movement to disannounces no more division with two groups, but It kinda did make it stop for now for short time (between 3 to 6 days). But didn't fully stop as no changes made to convincing thousands more left the church as Sam and John have a degree of creating new church as near of million followers prove.

Aftermath[]

After the Schism happened, Most of the members from either the Churches disallowed meeting their relatives for a very long time, 5 of Temples that Mormon Church-owned in the US and Canada become lightly modified to used Byzantine-Rite inspired trappings both inside and outside to distant from Mormon Church apart, Orthodox Church retains to accept Brigham Young succession unlike other LDS denominations along with some LDS Presidents as recognized as the 'undividers' and real Saints (as of literal Sainthood) of movement but unrecognized Presidents of LDS after 2035 (and some noble presidents of pre-2035 that triggered this Schism as well) as a reason of breaking up with Main Church, All original LDS scriptures were canonical with reviving original Joseph Smith's bible as also Semi-Canonical and optional for their followers household, And this cause few more mini-events of 15,200+ ex-members of LDS church become Orthodox Mormons following months throughout 2035 to 2039.

After 2035 and before 2077, Orthodox Mormon Church surprisedly convinced few Fundamentalists and one Josephite sects to Merged with Orthodox Church without reviving or a couple of time secretly compromise polygamy and make it waterdown version of it as part of newly established communion or granted Special Autonomous church-likeness under Mormon Orthodox authority while two of Fundamentalists sects very few diehard followers split alone to create their own sects with new names like Joseph Smith's True Church as an example, before being either destroyed by the blast in the Great War or suffered and collasped due of the Great War's side-effects of their food supplies.

Differences with both Churches after the Schism[]

LDS and OLDS[]

  • They both claimed to be the true original Momorn Church based on the Brigham's vision from Joseph Smith Jr, under his leadership.
  • They believe in the Mormon theology based on Joesph Smith Jr's Prophecies and the accepted the Brigham's is the right successor to him.
  • Both of them still used the term 'President' as to referred the Churches' leaders, spite the latter changed the title a bit later on.

LDS[]

  • The LDS mostly retaining what original mission of the Church, however.
  • They began to accepted non-Hetrosexual members to the Priesthood or any Religious clergy professionals.
  • Prior to 2077, they used to over 22.7 million followers to over 90 to 110+ different countries.
  • There officially no sacred language to worshiped in, due to being inspired by the American Protestant identity, in the founder's lifetime.
  • Polymany is still illegal under for both its political members and the under Secular's government and organization's watch in the United States.
  • The still used the word President to referring the leader of their church.

OLDS[]

  • The OLDS see their Church as the original Mormon Church, based on before the 2035 schism.
  • They refused any non-Hetrosexual members to any the Priesthood or any Religious clergy professionals, based on both their version of the Bible and the Book of Mormon scriptures.
  • Prior to 2077, they used to have over between 4.5 to 5.2 million members to over 9 to 17 different countries.
  • For non-Eastern European populated Orthodox Mormon Churches, they're no sacred language, but for those Churches who have those people, it has begun to adopted Byzantine Rite since 2036. Including using few Eastern Orthodox elements on their Churches' architecture, like their version of Religious icons.
  • Polymany is predominantly illegal under Secular's government and organization's watch in the United States. However, in the afford on merging of schismatic Mormon Fundematalist sects, they have a couple of times to compromise on keeping doing the final 20 or 15 more Polygamist marriages until the 5 years lifetime span, before the abandoning practice altogether to complete the transferring its properties under their Orthodox Church.
  • Unlike all LDS denominations, they're the only Latter-Day Saints Church to officially accepted Sainthood doctrine since 2038, along accepting few important Eastern Orthodox Saints under the co-founder's leadership and most unchanged since.
  • They adopted the word 'Patriarchical President' since the 2040s, as both co-founders accepted just the word President could be confusing some new members, especially the ex-Mormon fundamentalists.
