The fourth edition of the Fallout Fanfiction Writing Competition tasks you to create the cringiest fanfiction page imaginable.
This competition was inspired by Duke's Contests on TL. While the competition acts as a community-building exercise to increase community engagement and activity and promote cooperation between other editors, having fun together is the highest priority. However, users are still expected to write to the best of their abilities, as well as putting in place some guidelines and requirements for a submitted article to qualify.
These are the following guidelines for the competition:
- MUST be a brand-new, original article, created for entry into the competition. It should follow the competition's theme/topic.
- MUST be categorized in…
Hello everyone - I would like to say that I'm happy to here on this Wiki! I'm a huge fan of the Fallout games, especially in the lore! I've always wanted to help expand the lore, and lookey here - now I can! I would like to say that all admins here are doing a great job with this wiki!
Hi all! With Valentine's day coming up and having returned to
the wiki-side of things, I've decided to steal the thunder from Arc
and kick off a new writing competition for the community, themed
around the upcoming holiday!
As I'm sure you've guessed by now, the third installment of the Cool Community Writing Competition is themed around creating a Saint Valentine's Day article. As always, we encourage you to get as creative as your heart desires!
Is there a ghoul going around with a pink bow and arrows shooting wastelanders in the rear that has taken up the old saint's name? Has a pre-War corporation released a questionably themed product that may or may not be deadly? Are there raider recon groups going around collecting human hearts? It's …
Christmas lights light up all over Diamond City - children running around in a variety of christmas-themed costumes, with stores all over the City banking on the christmas craze and offering seasonal discounts for their wares to entice passerbys, as the neon christmas lights and scattered christmas decoration washing out the City - bringing all of its citizens together amidst the threats of super mutants, synths and raiders. A symbol of unity - a symbol of hope.
The second edition of the Cool Community Writing Competition (name still in works) tasks you to create a Christmas-themed article, may it be an article about an event based around Christmas, ghoul Santa and his radstags, or a location filled with the christmas vibe. Just make sure th…
Jack-o-lanterns litter the street of post-War neighborhoods, with children running around, knocking on every door, usually asking for food or bottlecaps. Halloween, albeit being centuries old, is still a popular celebration within many large settlements, and has evolved into more tricking than actual treating, and speaking of Halloween..
The first edition of the Cool Community Writing Competition (name still in works) tasks you to create a Halloween-themed article, may it be an article about an event based around Halloween, a spooky creature, or an eerie location. Just make sure the follow the Halloween theme, and make your imagination and creativity run wild and have fun!

What possible reason is there for this abomination of a character to be anywhere on the wiki?
As far as i can see, it breaks pretty much every rule of the guidelines, and even if its a joke its a disgrace. This page should be trashed
This has been bugging me for ages and that is the current state of the Enclave after their defeat in the Capitol Wasteland. For a while I could barely find anything in F4 except a few mentions that were few and far between that gave no real evidence of their current state, but with the release of Far Harbour there is some new information and that is from ex-Lietentant now Children of Atom Zealot Brian Richter. when passing an easy speech check about army he was in and he replies. "They called themselves the Enclave. They were a force to be reckoned with in their day, but now... well, it's been a long time since then." Now this suggests some things....things that make me worry like is the Enclave actually gone? maybe but can we trust the wo…
Hey there, people! I'm Sebi, and I made a character on here a while back. Well, I've received inspiration for another, but I don't want to clash with any current things on this wiki, so I want to ask, cause sifting through everything is tiresome. What's up with Texas? My plan was that there would be a New Texan Republic based out of Alamo, previously known as San Antonio, which would be small and would stretch a smaller region than the NCR for now. How badly does this clash with anything else here?
It is that time again where I show the exploits of Sergeant Lachlan Hoffmann good times were had in the Mojave Wasteland but it's time to move on and where better then Boston Massachusetts there are many adventures to be had and maybe vengeance will be taken out on an old enemy.

When the nuclear fire comes, and hope begins to dwindle as only dust remains, there will come a point where your actions will help decide your humanity. To survive, there will be times where you might be faced with tough choices; making those choices will determine whether you live or die, and whether those around you live or die; not only that, but those choices will begin to shape what sort of person you really are, as well as those around you: whether family, friends, or just those that use you, and/or are used by you.
Due to the Hawthorne effect, it is impossible to determine how anyone would react in any given, hypothetical situation, just by observing their answers. But as the following scenarios are presented, try and answer as truth…
Hey there, everyone! My name is Sebi99cl, and I, well, I guess I should say that I'm a bit of a Fallout fan. *looks at room full of Fallout stuff* Okay, a big one, much like you guys.
Anyway, I discovered this place thanks to lovely Steve, someone I am sure you all know, and I feel it's a nice place! So, I decided to make a character (Roland Kerst for those interested) and, well, I'm stuck on what to do now.
Care to help a newbie out?
Also, just in case it's important, I have not played 4 yet, and am trying to see as little of it as possible for when I can finally get it.
Keep myself fresh, ya know? Make my own opinions.
james carter grew up in a small paramilitary society that arose from the ashes of a pre-war military base. trained from the time they could walk, the citizens of this town were as close to modern-day Spartans you could get. at the age of 18 they were given a rifle, armor and a backpack and were exiled from the community for 10 years as an initiation into full citizenship. james has wandered the wastes for about a year now, a lone wolf skirting the edges of civilization. if you heard his shot, then you weren't the target...

Hi if you don't know I'm cold and this is Billy my assistant(Don't tell him but I'm planning to eat him sooner or later)he has a lot of trumpets......No seriously he loves trumpets and forces me to buy one every 9 weeks.

I have just finished a Class Guide for the game Fallout: New Vegas about a Ranger. Feedback would be appreciated for the Ranger Class, though I would be surprised if anyone actually tried to play as it. It is open to interpretation and can be modified to be used in role-play on the wiki. If you have any recommendations on what to do next, send me a message or something along those lines. Remember, there is no physical appearance for a reason. Become the Ranger and change the fate of the wasteland forever, through long-ranged head-exploding, death-from-the-shadows or stain-the-ground-red frontal assaults. You are the Ranger. End them in the name of the Ranger. Be the Ranger.
Hello, fellow role-players! My name is Leon, and I have joined this wiki and its community in order to continue working on, and eventually to release a prototype role-playing game for the community here to enjoy (as well as any sister wikis/affiliates). Many of you might already know me from Nukapedia and/or The Vault, but for those that do not, I would love to use this blog as a chance to get to know everyone else here.
As for why I created this blog: I have worked with the founder of this wiki for years now, and we have developed a professional relationship in regards to community content and events. Because of this mutual trust, I have been given administrative rights here, as I have need of the rights in order to add new templates, and …
Hey just making this blog to say I have begun work on a mod have no idea what I'm going to call it but it will be a quest mod about Henderson's Enclave it's in a very early stage only just started on Phoenix Military Base a week ago so here are some images of it. if anyone wants the esp just ask me and I'll put a download link on this blog also I will upload more images as I work on it.
Update: I am probably going to name the mod Henderson's Enclave because I can't think of anything else.
Two weeks have past since our last simply riveting poll and it is time to pick some new articles. It seems that editing is slowing down around these parts and the pool from which to grab articles to feature is growing stagnant. (The royal) we may have to run a special poll that features RPs for people to read... Anyway, the rules are the same as ever: I give you guys five articles to vote on, you choose three in descending order and points are awarded to them.
These five articles, in no particular order, are:
- Bayaraq jark snark
- Thomas Hamilton
- Bayuk Okla
- Enclave Shock Troopers
- Callan Barker
Welcome back, one and all, to another fantastic poll where we aren't ashamed to say it's a popularity contest! As before, you'll be provided with five articles to vote on with a progressive point system: your first pick gets three points, your second pick gets two points, and your last pick gets only one point. Come Wednesday evening, I will tally the points and include the chosen articles on the front page, hopefully with an adequately relevant tag line.
Your choices this fortnight, in no particular order, are:
- Mojave Rangers
- Maxwell Flower
- Falls Edge
- César Montero-Dominguez
- Republic of Columbia
Just speak your mind below.
Personally I think the whole inclusion of the BoS AGAIN in Fallout 4 is sorta dumb. Lets have some new factions for Fallout instead of constantly recycling the same tired old ones from the previous games. Don't get me wrong the Brotherhood is a cool faction and all but again they are an old hat, even if they're in an antagonistic role this time. Of course there are some indications that the Enclave may make a return (a sign from their power armor helmet appearing in the gameplay from E3), which is equally disappointing. However I like the look of the game and the ideas they present, the raiders and mutants look cool and the idea of having a Laser Musket really impresses me. Alright thats all I got, go ahead and r…

Just a quick important thing due to a recent update things are looking pretty bad on most of the wikis with the larger font and a smaller width here is a "fix" for anyone who wan't it to look like the old version just put this [ ?oasisbreakpoints=0&oasistypography=0 ] after the url don't use the brackets you can change the values.
Welcome back to the polls, the biweekly blog where you vote on what you want to see promoted on the main wiki page. For those of you who recent joined us (I'm looking at you Fallout: New York RP'ers), the voting is simple: I present to you five well written and substantial articles and you pick your top three. The first pick gets three points, the second pick gets two points and the third pick gets one point; obviously, the other two get no points from you.
Your five choices for this fortnight are:
- Enclave Shock Troopers
- Zhōu Wěi Gāng
- Aaron Scott
- Louis "Steel" de Luca
- The Cloud
(As this is my only way to create any content for the moment, I wanted to share a particularly notable scene from CRONOS' time in the Mojave Wasteland with the remnants of the Secret Service during Operation Presumption. If you're jittery about intense, gritty content... or a big NCR supporter, this probably isn't for you. To anyone else? Hope you enjoy it.)
Dust blew through the air of the interior of the old and almost forgotten Remnants Bunker, and onto the weathered Vertibird housed within. Outside, tension was in the air... almost everywhere. The war drums of Caesar's Legion were beating increasingly more and more frequent across the Colorado as the days went by... and the Second Battle of Hoover Dam was almost here.
Special Agent CRONO…
The fortnight is over and it's time once again to pick three more articles to feature on the front page. Sorry if this post isn't particularly entertaining, but it's been a long day and I don't care enough to say anything witty. The rules remain the same; they probably will never changed, but I need an intro to the rules. Your first pick gets three point, second gets two, and third gets one. When Wednesday rolls around, I'll tally the points up and switch out the featured articles.
You choices are:
- William Ekerd
- Tah'wotih' Beyahwuu
- Advanced Power Armor
- Bayuk Okla
- John Veng-Shui
Hello! Tis true, my haitus is at an end, for some reason. :3
For those of you who have no idea who I was, I'm Steve. An avid roleplayer and Fallout fan. I even got this place started on the whole forum based thread RP system, so that was fun.
Kicking off the end of my haitus, I just made a new OC I wanna try out. Trevor Raynes. If possible, it'd be cool to get him shipped 'n romanced for a fun mercenary/partners in crime dynamic. But, he'll be fun nonetheless. He's headed west, so anybody up for being the first person(s) to meet him?
Another two weeks has come and gone, so it's time to pick another set of featured articles. It works the way it's always worked: I present five, you pick three. First pick gets three points, second pick gets two points and third pick gets one point.
In no particular order, your choices are:
- Mojave Rangers
- Marcus White
- Jayson Muller
- Rae Briggs
The fortnight has come and gone, which means it's time for another vote for featured articles. The game's the same as always: out of the five article listed, pick three you want to see proudly featured on the front page. Your first vote receives three points, second gets two and third gets one. On Wednesday, the totals will be tallied and the top three will be featured.
Your choices for the fortnight of March 11 are:
- Enclave Conscripts
- Lachlan Hoffmann
- Broken Lodges War
- Bayaraq jark snark
- Bayuk Okla

Now let's set the record straight. There's no argument over the choice between peace and war, but there's only one guaranteed way you can have peace -- and you can have it in the next second -- surrender.
Admittedly, there's a risk in any course we follow other than this, but every lesson of history tells us that the greater risk lies in appeasement, and this is the truth that my opponents friends refuse to face -- that their policy of accommodation is appeasement, and it gives no choice between peace and war, only between fight or surrender. If we continue to accommodate, continue to back and retreat, eventually we have to face the final demand -- the ultimatum. And what then -- when The…
**Special Agent CRONOS Is Delivering Morphine to Julie Farkas at The Old Mormon Fort on a routine route, when a yound Jayson Muller catched a glimpse of him from his Tent, recognizing the symbols and his helmet, he sprints towards the stranger to talk to him immediately.**
Jayson: "Hey! Mister, Can I ask you a question?"
CRONOS: (sighing) "Sorry kid, I ain't got a cap to spare."
Jayson: "No, not that mister. Do you know Johnny, the one who's marching home?"
CRONOS: "You could say that... yep, you could. Where's your mom and dad at little man?" *looks towards Julie* "I think I need to have a little talk with 'em."
Jayson: "I don't know where my parents are, I was raised by my grandparents before they got. . . killed near Novac."
CRONOS: "Mmm... …
We've been doing the polls for two months now, so you regulars should know the drill. For the unenlightened, I am going to present to you five well written and substantial articles and your quest, should you choose to except it, is to choose three articles that you would like featured on the front page of the wiki; your first choice receives three points, second choice gets two points and third choice gets one point. On Wednesday night, I will add up the totals for votes and the three choices with the most votes will be featured.
Your choices for the fortnight following February 25 are:
- Bayaraq jark snark
- Komodo dragon
- Ghost Pepper
Welcome back to the third addition of polls, where you pick three articles that you want on the front page to represent the wiki! The mechanics are the same as the other polls: I use Special:Random to find five pages and you guys rank three of these pages in order of how much you want to see them – first pick gets 3 points, second pick gets 2 points and third pick gets 1 point. On Wednesday night, I will tabulate the scores and update the featured articles.
In a randomized order, your choices are:
- Broken Lodges War
- Wyoming Wasteland
- The Free People Association
- The Enclave
Welcome back to the polls, where you can vote and pick three articles that you want on the front page to represent the wiki! On Wednesday night I will tabulate the scores and update the featured articles.

Wooo 200 pages this wiki has come so far, I can see great things to come in the future
Hello guys CC here and I thought I'd bring up something that I tried to start on the Fallout Fanon wiki and yet failed to go anywhere with it. The RP I'm suggesting is basically a game of diplomacy played out with Fallout nations and groups. The game works like this on the forum (which I will need help setting up) every person having chosen a particular nation to play as will be given one diplomatic move (sign peace treaties, alliances, mutual defense pacts, non-agression pacts, etc.) and one military move during this military move the olayer could recruit units (see below) and attack countries. An example would be lets say player A holds New Vegas but Player B holds Primm well Player A can attack the town and defeat player B's forces base…
if you really 100 and 10% have to know what iam doing just add me on steam don't have steam? TOO BAD my steam name is DR.OKTOBERFEST
I know some people have gathered up music to make atmosphere/ambiance playlists, but what do y'all think about including music that embodies a character, for lack of a batter term, their "theme song"? Something you would expect to hear in a movie when that character opens the door to the bar and walks in. My group used to do this with our DnD characters; it's totally unnecessary, but really fun to do.
(Note: Credit to the RWBY Fanon for these rules.)
Grammar and Spelling: Please use the best grammar, punctuation, and spelling that you are capable of, including capitalization where appropriate.
Style: All roleplaying posts are to be written in prose using the past tense. Using *asterisks*, italics, or some other device to indicate actions are not permitted. For example of good use, (Volt walked into the house, looking around for anything interesting. Pretty soon a shiny fork caught his eye. "Oh yes, mr. Fork. What fun we shall have..." ) (Chat based RPs can ignore this and be in the present tense.)
Godmodding: Please portray your character's abilities appropriately for their abilities and experience. This includes randomly adding skills neve…
Hello! Steve again!
So I've been working at my character, Aaron Scott, and have him finally finished, so I was wondering if anybody was up for an RP on the new board.
Hello! I'm new, obviously, but I love Fallout and RPing.
I've been poking about and would like to suggest an RPing method that has been very fun in the other Fanon I'm from: "http://rwbyfanon.wikia.com/wiki/RWBY_Fanon_Wiki" We use the forum boards instead of Chat.
I have found using the forum as a very effective RP style in that it is simple and easy to keep track of the story and achievements that go on in the RP, as opposed to Chat, which is not a bad form of RP, but it's nearly impossible to keep track of what goes on unless the participants remember it or screencap, which is too much work anyway.
What I find particularity good about RPing on the forum is linking to your characters' page(s) so that it is part of your characters' cannon, wh…
In hopes of not sounding like a pretentious prick, I'd like to write a little tutorial on how to write compelling characters to roleplay. I realize that some people are content with one-dimensional PC's that are a simple archetype, but I know there are those that want to go beyond being the stereotypical soldier, smooth talker, techie, et cetera. If you fit into the latter category, read on for some character building advice. If not, you can tell me to fuck off and we can go our separate ways.
The first thing that I think of is what I want my character to end up as, and start thinking about the early life needed to develop into what I want. Who they were has an enormous impact on who they will become. Furthermore, what works for me is actua…
I've been thinking maybe we could do some kind of joint project like an story or something were everyone can add or change etc and me or any other person with a rank could review the edits. It would be fun to see everyones style of RP join together kinda like how I accept/refrence Edens or Evers RP things into my creations.
One Enclave One America Now and Forever
This tutorial will help you understand how to RP in chat. Now the first thing you need to know is how to talk as your character how to do things and how to talk out of character or OOC.
When talking use quotation marks like this "Hello how are you today." if you are two characters add a name like this Lachlan Hoffmann: Hello how are you today.
Now I will tell you how to do actions to do actions put a Asterisk at the start and end and say something that sounds like your char is doing something *Lachlan uncaps the Nuka Cola bottle and drinks it* it can be used to tell what is the setting in the session *You come across a small town with a bar* or something that is happening in the session *The timer hits zero and the explosives detonate destroying the N…
Hello, my name is Michael! I've stumbled upon this fine wiki in the hope to create some of my own criteria and interact with other users. Similiar wikis I've stumbled upon have been decayed for quite awhile but this one is alive and breathing. So uhm... Hello!
Why ask permission to fix spelling, grammar, syntax, accidence, fundaments, linguistics, morphology and principles, key rudiments, stratification with structure, sentence structure and tagmemics when you can just do it and not have troubles.
You have no valid reason either. Unless I was changing story or commuting vandalism, which I am not.
Stop being so backward, and encourage edits. This is wikia; a community site that anyone can contribute to.
